The Belper Dev8s welcomed the North Notts development team for their second meeting of the season with memories of Alan’s 80th birthday cake still fresh in their minds. Report: Ladies 4th Team vs Uttoxeter 1 – December 09, 2023

Belper Ladies 4 were away at Uttoxeter. We arrived in good time, but were unable to get in- had to make do with a 10 minute warm up😬 what a load of bull. Report: Ladies 4th Team vs Burton 3 – November 18, 2023

Ladies 4’s were at Shobnall playing Burton 3’s We had Kitty and Erin from the 3’s, Hannah from the 5’s and Sally joining us this week. We lost the PB, however Belper dominated from the start. Report: Mens 8th Team vs Nottingham 3 dev – November 18, 2023

Another enjoyable game of development hockey was played at the ever friendly Goosedale venue. The first half was an even encounter with plenty of strong play from Belper. The second half saw a strong start with a well fought for goal shortly after resumption of play. The Belper Hockey Christmas Social Sat 2nd Dec, in the Clubhouse, from 6.30pm, Ladies, Men, Girls and Boys, Parents, all welcome. Time to get those Christmas jumpers out! FLOOD AID DONATIONS

Belper Hockey Club reels after Floods – an appeal for help. On October 21st following Storm Babet the river Derwent flooded, covering our Astro pitch and watering system with 1.5 metres of water, mud, and debris. Even our Clubhouse which is built above the alleged 100-year flood level had 400mm of brown silty water inside.  On the approach of Storm Babet our members were busy moving items above flood level even to the extent of unscrewing Read more…
