Hollie, the Rio 2016 gold medalist Olympian, came back to her roots at Belper HC, on Sunday 18 September.
She showed her medal to more than 100 junior players, tirelessly posed for countless photographs, answered lots of questions and encouraged them all to enjoy the game.
“When I was eight, I saw a poster for Belper Hockey Club, came to the Meadows, picked up a stick from the side of the pitch and really enjoyed playing the game. My first medal was when we won the National under-11 competition.”
