How many times have we heard that anguished cry from a frazzled captain ‘I can’t find an umpire!’
Today must have been an exception as umpires travelled from all over the country to pay their respects to Wendy Mould.
Not only was she a former player but was also a well respected Midlands and National League Umpire.
A sad day, but there was lots of laughter as old friends caught up with each other in the sunshine.
