On Saturday 15th December the U16 boys attended the Midland Round of the Super 6s indoor tournament.
This was the 3rd year of the competition for some of the boys and they were determined this time to make the National Finals for the Super 6s Junior competition.
The boys had 3 pool matches. The first against Repton, last years winners. The match ended in a 3-3 draw, the boys a little disappointed that they had not won the match. Next Barford Tigers 5-0 victory and then a final pool game was against Stourport another victory this time 5-1. The boys finished 2nd in the group on goal difference by 1 goal. This meant a semi final match against the other pool winners Beeston. The boys controlled this game, giving them a 3-2 victory and a place at the National Indoor finals. The midland final was against Repton unfortunately losing 4-0.
Goals were shared between Sam, Joe, Will and Archie
