The In2Hockey Championships for U10s and U12s were held at Belper on Sunday March 3rd. What a great day for our club! Organised and hosted by Audra from Junior Boys, the tournament was supported by Ladies, Men’s and Minis and was the best yet– a true whole club effort. The work that went into the day really paid off, and having the club house to keep warm and dry, with the Ladies serving hot and cold food, was a huge bonus.
28 teams from across the county competed, including 10 Belper teams – the most we have ever fielded. 93 Belper children participated, supported by 17 enthusiastic coaches and managers. There were lots of happy faces to be seen throughout the day.
We were pleased to see Belper teams progress to Regional Finals in all 4 categories (U10 Boys and Girls, U12 Boys and Girls), and we have delighted County Champions in 3 of those categories.
