At Belper Meadows Community Sports Club we are delighted to take part in the BBC’s Kit out the Nation initiative. It runs until Saturday 2nd October, and is aimed at the collection and distribution of unwanted, good condition sports kit. The intent is to get the kit to children and teenagers who need it at a time when the pandemic has seen levels of exercise among young people plummet. This is a great idea there is so much sports kit that is discarded before it is worn out. We will be collecting kit from our Bowls, Cricket, Hockey and Tennis members. In addition we are happy to receive donations of Sports Kit from Belper and the surrounding area.

Our collection dates are September:

Sunday 19th & 26th, 9:30-11:00am
Tuesday 21st & 28th 6:30-8:00pm
Thursday 23rd & 30th 6:30-8:00pm

The collection point is at the Sports Cub on Christchurch Meadows (behind the Belper Town FC). DE56 1BA. See the Contact Us page for directions.

Please only donate kit that is clean and is serviceable. Tying shoes together in pairs, and/or bagging them up prevents waste.

Thank you in advance for your generosity
