We will be running a Level 1 Umpiring course at Belper on Sunday 23rd October.

L1 Umpire Course information
The face-to-face L1 Umpire course to be delivered at Belper Hockey Club is designed for anyone who is going to be umpiring the 11-a-side game.
- It is a full day course (~10:00 – 17:30) and the cost is £55.
- Registration will be via the Hockey Hub website
- Attendees must be at least 14 years old
- You will need to complete the Online rules test before attending
The course is made up of 4 modules:
- The game from a players’ perspective
- The role of the umpire
- Player management
- Preparation and planning the next steps
After completion of the course, you will receive your Level 1 Unassessed Umpires Certificate.

For younger members:
There may be an opportunity to hold an Introduction to Umpiring course at Belper if there is interest. This course would be aimed at younger participants (age 12+), initially umpiring 7 a side games.
