The Belper U8s mixed team had their first matches against Leek Lions and Leek Leopards on Sunday 2 October.
They put into practice the skills they’ve been learning from Head Coach Kate Salt on Sundays, and had a great time in their first competitive matches which they won 2-0, 1-0 and had two 0-0 draws. The team worked well together and also learnt a lot about match play.
With the majority of the team members being only 6 years old, they are sure to have a bright future ahead of them.
