BMCSC is hosting the Derwent River Relays on 6th July, there will be some 200 runners plus supporters. This is a good event for the Sports Club as it raises money from people outside the Club and in so doing keeps Sports Section’s subs down. We charge for use of our Lower Pavilion, car parking as well as selling food and drinks. The runners are a friendly bunch and it is a pleasant event to help out at. Runners will be arriving from 11 am and finishes at 3 – 4 pm.
We are looking for volunteers to fill 2 hour slots from 09.30 to 15.30, see link below. If you could reply by 5pm Wed 3rd July that would be helpful.
Or if you cannot volunteer, but can offer some cakes/cookies* they would be very welcome. *Preferably wrapped single pieces in the interests of hygiene.
