Belper Astro Allocation for Saturday home games 2023-24 and Pitch Bookings Calendar (Read only)
BACK TO HOCKEY for NEW PLAYERS and RETURNING PLAYERS – sessions throughout the season, catering for all abilities. BEGINNERS ARE VERY WELCOME, or if the last time you picked up a stick was at school, come along and try hockey again!
We are situated behind Belper Town Football Club just off the A6 in Belper.
SEASON 2023-24
- Training Trials 6th Sept (and 1st team).
- 6pm-7pm for last season’s 4s/5s/6s
- 7pm-8pm for last season’s 2s/3s.
- Training for all teams starts 13th September
- Last training session before Christmas will be on Wed 6th December.
CLUB TRAINING 2023-24
Wednesday evenings at Belper Meadows – timings from 13th Sept 2023
- Ladies 1s 8:00pm – 10:00pm
- Ladies 2s 8:00pm – 9:30pm
- Ladies 3s 6:30pm – 8:00pm
- Ladies 4s 7:00pm – 8:00pm
- Ladies 5s 7:00pm – 8:00pm
- Ladies 6s 6:00pm – 7:00pm
These times are subject to change depending on the volume of players attending training.
JUNIOR GIRLS U14/U16/U18 TRAINING – tbc Thurs 5.30pm – 8.00pm, starting 7th Sept 2023
Junior Thursday Training sessions:
- 6.00 – 7.30pm U14’s
- 6.30 – 8.00pm U16/18
All Juniors are encouraged to take part in the ‘England Hockey Player Pathway’ activities co-ordinated by the Derbyshire Hockey Association. More information can be found HERE
Mini-Hockey (5 years – 12 years)
Training Times 2023/2024 are :
Little Stars : Sunday 9am – 10am
U10s (y4/5) : Sunday 10am – 11.30am
U12s (y6/7) : Monday 7 – 8.30pm
