The RARE principles referred to in our ‘Coaching Philosophy’ document, underline our philosophy for Junior Development at Belper Hockey Club.

Examples of this have included our support for Junior players as they have played for other club junior or senior teams and played in the appropriate team at Belper. We want to develop every player at BHC and support our players through the County and Talent Academy system. However, the most important point in the RARE principles, is that each player will feel guided and supported but have fun as part of our family based club.
