Nick Morris recently played for the England Mens O40s and happened to win to become the first ever official FIH Mens Hockey Masters O40’s World Champions 2012. They beat Germany in the semis on penalties (very rare!) and then the Aussies in the final. Hard work and an incredible effort! I presume that means he now can wear a gold star on his shirt!!!

The IMHA FIH Hockey Masters World Cup is being held in Canterbury, Kent 14-24th August 2012. Nick Morris (Mozza) (England Mens Masters O40’s) and Monica Jones-Knowles (Wales Women O40’s) are playing in it as well as ex Belper player Jeff Longden (England Mens Masters O45’s).
