Belper hosted a 7 aside mixed hockey tournament on Saturday 4th of July. Ten teams competed in total, including two from Belper, Amber Valley and Derby, and one from Wulfric and Burton. There was a good mix of visiting teams with two from Nottingham; Nottingham Players, and ‘The Incredibles’, the eventual tournament winners. The standard of play was extremely high and it turned into a competitive event with the final an exciting penalty flick shoot out between The Incredibles and Burton. A fantastic day of hockey with an incredible atmosphere!
