U12 Boys Win At Ashby Tournament
The U12 boys arrived at the Ashby hockey tournament in confident mood after their last tournament win. It was a glorious day with temperatures in the mid-twenties.
We started the tournament with 3 on/off matches but despite the weather the boys coped very well. They started slowly against Loughborough Town with a 2-0 win. Next followed a 1-0 win against Ashby with teams preferring to sit back and trying to catch out the Belper boys on the break. Next came Beeston, another win, 3-0. We finished off the tournament with a 5-0 win against Ashby B and 2-0 against Litchfield.
We ended the tournament winners, unbeaten and conceding no goals.
Well played boys another good all round performance.
