Held on on Sunday 11 March, the under 10 girls event was won by Belper, with Repton being runner-up. In the other sections (ie under 10 boys and both under 12s) the placings were reversed.
Accordingly the Belper and Repton teams progress to the Regional competition.
However, the real stars of the day were all the Mums and other helpers, who baked and donated masses of cakes, which more or less sold out – raising a huge £461.75 for the new pavilion !!! (Check out the ‘ just giving ‘ website !)
Well done indeed to the hockey players . . . and super thanks to all the bakers, parents and helpers.
In total – a brilliant day.
