Another enjoyable game of development hockey played in fine weather.
Derwent went ahead early on with a couple of goals. After a battling first half, Belper came out for the second half and immediately Theo finished off a fine passing move slotting his first if the season. Some chances were missed and Derwent hit again on the counter attack.
In the closing stages Belper slotted their second and then following a PC won a stroke. Henry, who on his debut appearance put in a sterling performance including a fine assist to the second goal, took on the flick and neatly placed the shot in the bottom corner only to see the keeper make a fine save.
Overall an enjoyable game, with a score that flattered the opposition.
