Ilkeston 2 – 1 Belper 4’s
We turned up to play at Jules’ old secondary school although most if it was unrecognisable as it had been demolished and re-build! She did, however, discover that she has been at school with the groundsman although he was younger than her!👵🏼
One player went to the wrong ground but arrived in time although we were delayed anyway as their umpire was working to an 11.30 start not the 11 start everyone else was working to! 🤣
The least said about the game the better to be honest! The high point was the goal that Rachel slotted passed the keeper!👏👏
The egg sandwiches in the pub were delicious!
Onwards and upwards for the last game of the season!
