Ladies 4’s
It was a 15:15 PB for the Ladies 4’s against Charnwood Forest, away in Loughborough.
Perhaps the later start saw Belper not switched on from the off, and we were a goal down within the first minute.
Charnwood were well organised, quick and dominated the first half, with Belper struggling to make an impact. Izzy in goal was put to the test and made some brilliant saves – followed by an interesting squeak!
However we were 3-0 down at half time.
The second half saw Belper dig in, managing to pass the ball around a bit more. We managed to get in the Charnwood D, but we’re unable to get a goal from 3 short corners.
Belper pulled together, everyone working hard, conceding only one goal in the second half.
Hannah S made her debut for the 4’s and held her own against a tough team👍
