Another good game of hockey against a skilled mixture of fathers and sons from Boots.
The first half saw Belper sustaining a long period of attack from the opposition right wing, before conceding a pc that led to a goal. Another came from open play.
The second half saw Belper starting with some great pass7that sliced through the opposition and led to an early chance. As the half developed more opposition pressure mounted but the Belper defence held solid with the only goal a defensive deflection that transformed an average shot to one in the top corner out of any GKs reach.
