Calling all umpires….. Please come along to an umpires meeting/social get together on Jan 24th at 7.00pm to 8.00 ish, in the Clubhouse. John Lichfield is going to show a presentation but it’s also a chance to discuss life from the side of the pitch! Refreshments will be available. The Belper U8s mixed team had their first matches against Leek Lions and Leek Leopards on Sunday 2 October. They put into practice the skills they’ve been learning from Head Coach Kate Salt on Sundays, and had a great time in their first competitive matches which they won 2-0, 1-0 and had two 0-0 draws.  The team worked well together and also learnt a lot about match play.   With the majority of the team Read more…

Close to 90 people got together on Saturday 2nd July for a fun day of hockey. Sadly we only had one outside team, but Belper Hockey put out 8 teams with players from 14 years old upwards from all stratas.
