U12 Boys Win At Ashby Tournament The U12 boys arrived at the Ashby hockey tournament in confident mood after their last tournament win. It was a glorious day with temperatures in the mid-twenties. We started the tournament with 3 on/off matches but despite the weather the boys coped very well. They started slowly against Loughborough Town with a 2-0 win. Belper U10 and U12 Boys went to Burton’s tournament on Saturday and the U10 boys finished runners-up while the U12 boys won. Hockey friends gathered today, at Bretby Crem and then afterwards at Lichfield HC, to say our last farewells to Lozza – a sad day. What a fantastic guy he was and his memory will live long at Belper Hockey Club. Our thoughts continue to be with Wendy, Lauren and all the family.
