Introduction to Hockey Coaching Course

We will be holding an ‘Introduction to Hockey Coaching’ course at the Club on Sunday 23rd October, 11.00am – 5.00pm. This is equivalent to the old L1 Assistant Coach course. Irene Bestwick Trophy

The Belper Ladies Hockey Club Woman Award was renamed The Irene Bestwick Trophy after she passed away earlier this year. The first recipient was awarded to Will Howarth. U12 Boys success at Ashby tournament

U12 Boys Win At Ashby Tournament The U12 boys arrived at the Ashby hockey tournament in confident mood after their last tournament win. It was a glorious day with temperatures in the mid-twenties.  We started the tournament with 3 on/off matches but despite the weather the boys coped very well. Mini Hockey Success at Burton Tournament

Belper U10 and U12 Boys went to Burton’s tournament on Saturday and the U10 boys finished runners-up while the U12 boys won. We say ‘Goodbye’ to Lozza.

Hockey friends gathered today, at Bretby Crem and then afterwards at Lichfield HC, to say our last farewells to Lozza – a sad day. What a fantastic guy he was and his memory will live long at Belper Hockey Club. Our thoughts continue to be with Wendy, Lauren and all the family.
